Sister Đăng Nghiêm Book Signing & Day of Mindfulness
Sunday, November 15
9:00 am to 2:00pm
Please join us at Deer Park Monastery for a special Day of Mindfulness with Sister Đăng Nghiêm (Sister D), celebrating the release of her new book, Live Beautifully, Die Beautifully.
Together, we will enjoy a peaceful day of practice in the hidden mountain, including walking meditation, a Dharma talk, and time to connect with the community. Following the 5 Mindfulness Trainings Recitation, Sister D will be signing copies of Live Beautifully, Die Beautifully at approximately 12:20 p.m. Book copies will be available for purchase on-site, or you may bring your own copy to be signed.
In her new book, Sister D offers compassionate teachings and reflections on how we can meet life, aging, loss, and death with greater awareness, courage, and tenderness. This special gathering is an opportunity to practice together and celebrate the continuation of these teachings.
We welcome you to join us for this day of practice. Please see the program schedule below. Advance registration is required.
This is an IN-PERSON event. We encourage registering early as these events regularly sell out.
